In 9 years of World cup history (the first world cup was played in 1975 in England), Australia has won 4 matches. And 2007 victory is Hatrick for Australia! What is it that they are doing right and we Indians wrong? Don’t we practice enough? Or is it something else? My personal opinion is that we lack the killing spirit…. The do or die attitude which drives you to push yourself and give the best and may be team spirit as well? Not sure though.
India’s exit from World cup this year has been quite disgraceful. It’s high time we identify our weak link and act on it.

The World Cup's been around 32 years now... and this is Australia's fourth triumph in the last 20 years. Of course, this was their fourth successive final, starting from 1996.
